Nov 18, 2011

Epidata, company specialized in architecture and software development, presented its objectives for 2012, which will focus on continuing its growth model based on the consolidation of the local market and international expansion, with a strong component of innovation. Objectives for this year are to increase turnover by 80% and 50% the number of professionals, surpassing the growth rate of recent years.

The company goals are framed in Epidata’s Strategic Plan 2015, elaborated in 2010, which proposes to reach 500 professionals and to be fully installed in the international market. This implies the generation of more than 350 new jobs.

“Having clear objectives in the medium and long term allows us to work synergistically, with a systematic vision that makes us grow from every angle: innovation, continuous improvement and quality processes; on terms of commerce, institutions and responsibility for the communities around us”.

The business objectives are aligned to strategies and actions implemented during the last years. “Looking forward to an exponential growth at local and international levels, we tripled the structure of the commercial area, led by Gustavo Guaspari. We also invested in external advice and implemented excellence plans for customers” said Anacleto. Plans for 2012 also include to deepen the commitment with the academic community and collaboration with professional communities.

They expect to expand its Academic Cooperation Program, which promotes free training activities, knowledge generation activities and research projects with argentinean universities. Also, they will continue with their Job Placement Plan, intended market entry of young professionals.

Since the beginning, Epidata has kept a steady growth of 60%, driven by investments in R+D+i (Research, Development and Innovation) and continuous improvement in quality processes (they have re-certified ISO 9001-2008 for the fourth year), projects which are carried through continuous reinvestment in profitability.

Epidata’s client base consists of major national and international companies, mostly banking, telecommunications and health insurance industries. In the last year some important clients were incorporated such as: Red Link, Peugeot-Citroen, Agea, Osde, Cencosud, Isban, Accenture, LoJack and Tigo among others.
