Epidata reassures its commitment to quality

Epidata, pioneer in Software Architecture in Latin America, obtained the certification renewal of its Quality Management System processes according to the ISO 9001:2000 standard.
The audit was carried out by the certification enterprise Det Norske Veritas (DNV), the globally well-known entity in Quality Certifications, and it included the software development processes and support areas’ processes, such as Human Capital and Infrastructure, among others.
The certified processes fall into the Quality Management System (SGC, after the name in Spanish), its objective consists in supervising and controlling the organization processes, granting quality and continuous improvement.
“During this year (since the first certification), we confirmed that the decision of implementing the Quality Management System was the correct choice, because of the great contribution it meant for management as well as the search for quality and continuous improvement”, expressed Engineer Diego Mornacco, responsible for the SGC in Epidata. Epidata provides software architecture services, consulting, custom-made software development – local and offshore- ,Performance Assurance, training and Mentoring.
The fact that we count with development processes internationally certified guarantees quality and continuous improvement, and serves as a reinforcement for Epidata’s positioning in the region. Joaquín Hernández, Epidata’s director expressed that “the fact of the certification renewal is a sign that we are on the right track, and it pushes us to continue working over the quality standards and continuous improvement, for the definition and optimization of our processes”, and added that “this achievement is the result of every member of Epidata’s effort, and thanks to them, we can achieve quality jobs and grow over the bases of continuous learning”.
