ArchAdvisor is a CASE (Computer Aided Software Engineering) tool designed and developed by Epidata Consulting.

ArchAdvisor facilitates architectures analysis and evaluation, optimizes architecture assessment processes and allows architects and consultants to automate its mechanical tasks, which leads on more valuable results, in less time, with lower costs. It also adds visibility, flexibility and immediacy to the client during the whole architecture assessment process.

One of the major benefits that ArchAdvisor provides is using past experiences as a learning for continuous improvement, through a knowledge repository included within the tool that generates added value for future assessments.

Semi-automatic report generation

Through the Reports module, ArchAdvisor optimizes and speeds result presentation up through report generation. It also allows to generate complete reports based on all the documents that make up the assessment process.

Web-based self-assessment

ArchAdvisor allows the client to perform web- based architecture self-assessments through the “Self Assessment” module. Thanks to this solution, the client can know his situation regarding his software architecture’s needs in every step of the software development.

ArchAdvisor was developed by Epidata Consulting’s area of Research, Development and innovation (R+D+i) and it counts with the support of Fonsoft (Fondo Fiduciario de Promoción de la Industria del Software) that recognizes the tool as an international innovation.
