Emeretail

Emeretail is a technological reference for the Retail line and related businesses that have to control/administer the chain of supply and distribution of the merchandise.  They develop products and offer focalised solutions in the control/administration of the chain of supply, the essence of the supermarket industry, and other companies related with the retail line.

EmeReport

Epidata Consulting was responsible for the software architecture definition and the development of the EmeReport module. Through this project, Emeretail achieved the objective of completing its set of tools for Retail.
EmeReport is a module in the EmeRetail suite, responsible for doing different reports and monitoring online sales. In this way, the users can visualise, in a centralised manner, the behaviour of each of the sale points, allowing them to monitor the progress of these sales in real time. Also, it generates various statistics, which allow them to have a wider vision of the business.
The development of this model is strategically beneficial for the company, given that their main client is a supermarket chain in Ecuador, with more than 100 stores. For the development of the model, it was used the most recent generation of technologies, amongst which Adobe Flex version 3 stands out; one of the most recognised front-end development technologies. For the integration with Java Enterprise services, BlazeDS was used.
Other technologies used that deserve to be highlighted are Spring framework, Hibernate 3 and Oracle 10g, amongst others.
