Grupo Bimbo is one of the most important bakery industry in the world due to brand positioning as well as to production and sales volumes. It is located in 17 countries in America, Europe and Asia, has over a hundred well-known brands and is the leader in the bakery industry in Mexico and Latin America.
Financial Report Builder
Epidata Consulting, together with Technolap, developed a multidimensional report system on Hyperion EssBase database. The goal of the reporter was to provide users of different areas within the company with an intuitive and dynamic tool so that a great variety of financial statement reports could be carry out; among the reports can be mentioned financial statement, Sales, Suppliers and Raw Material costs.

It’s an outstanding achievement that the Financial Report Builder was the first Java/J2EE development in using the Hyperion Application Builder as Essbase connection framework.

This work was carried out in Grupo Bimbo`s buildings in Mexico and the project was made up by an interdisciplinary team of development integrated by Bimbo`s Technolap and Epidata Consulting`s members.
