First electronic binding voting in Latin America
Epidata Consulting, together with HP and Scytl, developed the system for the first electronic binding voting in America Latina. This voting took place the 1st of December of 2005, when the representatives of the odontologist chamber in Mendoza were elected. In this context, Epidata Consulting developed a web 2.0 interface with Ajax and Java/J2EE technologies to be used in the voting. The interface outstanding characteristic was its usability, which we main attributes are simplicity of use and intuitive interface.
