Agreement of Academic Initiative with IBM

Epidata Consulting signed an agreement of Academic Initiative with IBM, which principally dealt with reinforcing the links with the universities and encouraging professional training. The first activity realised under this framework took place on June 24th, in the University of La Plata, where a workshop was taught about “Rational and UML”, by Sebastian Reingold and Esteban Rojo.

The results were very positive; more than 30 students showed up from the UNLP, and also from the UTN La Plata, who showed themselves to be receptive and participative at the time of involving themselves with IBM’s design and modelling tool.

The agreement of Academic Initiative with IBM resembles for Epidata a strong support and incentive towards the training and professional specialisation that we have always carried out, orientated around shortening the gulf between Industry and Academy.
