Since its inception, Epidata Consulting has used agile methodologies as much in projects concerning development and consulting as in the functional areas, in both an integral and a partial manner.
The most important promoting factor of implementing agile methodologies resides in the philosophy and the culture of Epidata Consulting, which revolves around continuous learning, communication and innovation as its principal pillars.

Scrum in Epidata Consulting

Epidata Consulting contains its own work methodology for its software development projects that are based principally on Scrum.
Scrum is one of the most popular and effective agile methodologies. Epidata Consulting uses Scrum combined with different additional practices, some of them coming from other agile methodologies, others based in RUP, Spice or CMMI and others taken from managemnd practice projects to be risk management tools.

In this way, our methodology offers an ideal type of work to project teams, with repect to the level of communications, the quality of the obtained solutions and to the final satisfaction of the client. It allows for reacting satisfactorily to rapidly changing contects, and it helps to concentrate efforts before deadlines and greatens the compromise of all team members.

With the implementation of Scrum in an integral manner -as much in the development projects as in Epidata Consulting's areas of support-, combined with an appropriate risk managemnt, as greater efficiency of management has been achieved both in the day to day operations and in the resolution of conflicts and problems.
